1. Basic diagnostics — free of charge
This is the first step of every repair and the only one you never pay for. A technician checks the device on site, usually in 5–15 minutes (up to 30 minutes for iMacs, where model, drive and memory condition are verified as well), and you immediately know what is going on:
- Hardware test: display, battery, cameras, sensors, microphones, speakers, buttons.
- Software test: operating system, libraries, drivers.
- Fault identification: a pinpoint answer on what exactly needs repairing.
- Repair quote: cost and turnaround time, sent by SMS or e-mail for your approval.
Basic diagnostics stays free even if you decline the quote and collect the device unrepaired. We start any work only after you approve the quote — nothing happens without your consent.
2. Board-level (electronics) diagnostics — 349 PLN
Sometimes the cause is not the battery or the screen but something deeper — the logic board. The device does not power on, restarts for no reason, loses functions, or basic diagnostics found no single culprit. That is when we perform board-level electronics diagnostics: a detailed analysis of the logic board — measurements of traces, chips and power rails under the microscope and on test equipment.
- Price: 349 PLN gross — one rate for iPhone, iPad, MacBook and iMac.
- Turnaround: 1–3 working days (average 1 day), the device stays at the service point.
- Billing: board-level diagnostics is always paid and added to the repair cost — the full amount is the technician's quote + 349 PLN. You also pay it if you decline the repair after the quote.
Thanks to board-level diagnostics we know whether component-level repair is worth it — logic-board repair is often many times cheaper than a board swap, and a device that "is only good for parts" can frequently be saved.
3. Water-damage diagnostics — with board cleaning
Liquid contact is a special case: an assessment alone is not enough, because the liquid leaves mineral deposits and corrosion spots under the chips. That is why water-damage diagnostics includes ultrasonic cleaning of the logic board and its analysis right away — and, if the device is dead, board-level diagnostics by our electronics engineer as well.
- Price: MacBook 350 PLN gross, iPhone and iPad 250 PLN gross.
- Turnaround: usually 1–2 working days, the device stays at the service point.
- Billing: always paid and added to the repair cost (example: repair 600 PLN + diagnostics 350 PLN = 950 PLN).
